Born as one of the younger Winchester brothers, he has a significant age gap from Sam & Dean, the infamous monster hunters. After they disconnected with their father, John decided to have a “redemption baby” who came from an unnamed woman. He raised Art to be a normal kid up until he was 9 years old, which then John returned back to his old ways and attempted to make Art a monster hunter like his brothers. This did not work out as he expected, Art was sympathetic and cautious on killing monsters. This lead John to leave him with his older siblings. Not wanting the burden of raising a monster sympathizer. Many years later, Art does hunt monsters. But it has always felt like a family tradition he was forced to participate in rather than doing it for a purpose.
